Drew Carlton, MHA, RN-BC, FACHE
Mr. Carlton, a USMC veteran and native Texan, has been immersed in behavioral healthcare operations for the last 10 years in both freestanding for profit and matrixed not for profit healthcare organizations. He started his career working as a mental health technician working in a freestanding inpatient psychiatric hospital while attending nursing school at Texas Woman’s University. After graduating with his BSN he served various positions such as charge nurse, unit manager, outpatient nurse manager, program director, chief nursing officer, chief operating officer, and chief executive officer. Mr. Carlton has a particular passion for assisting military veterans and their families accessing behavioral health treatment.
Mr. Carlton has a BA from Texas A&M University, BSN from Texas Woman’s University, MA from American Military University, and MHA from University of Texas at Arlington. As a Registered Nurse, he is board certified in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Mr. Carlton is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), the gold standard for board certification in healthcare management.
